Liverpool shopping destination looks forward to future plans

Cavern Walks set the standard for boutique shopping when it first opened its doors four decades ago, and since then has played host to some of the region’s best fashion and style retail names.

JSM Company Group acquired Cavern Walks in 2022, and has announced that all of its ground floor spaces are now fully occupied.

As it is central to the city’s bustling leisure and accommodation sectors, it is also perfectly placed to welcome visitors who are looking for a retail fix and welcome break during a busy day, weekend and holiday stays.

Cavern Walks not only is home to a whole host of noted names who have been associated with the centre for some time, it is also a space for new and innovative enterprises. From retailers who are long associated with the Cavern Walks, such as Christopher James Jewellers and Cavern Menswear, to Pose And Pout Hair and Chantilly Beatles Cafe, all are enjoying their newly refurbished surroundings.

Matt Crebbin Property and Assets Manager for JSM Company Group said, “Cavern Walks is a key development at the heart of the city’s most iconic cultural zone, and has always been a popular retail centre since it launched. Now that all of our sites are occupied and enjoying a newly refurbished home, we anticipate a significant increase in footfall over the upcoming weeks and months. We look forward to a really prosperous future for everyone here at Cavern Walks.”

John Franklin from Cavern Menswear said, “Cavern Walks has always been an ultimate location for us, and a hugely successful one. We are delighted that Cavern Walks is back to its best, and we continue to enjoy being a front-facing retailer welcoming visitors into the centre. As a stockist of exclusive and covetable brands, we are currently expanding our interior feature wall to further showcase the very best in menswear in this most fashionable of cities.”

Nina from Chantilly Beatles Cafe added, “We love our long-term home at the Cavern Walks and it is great to see every retail and leisure unit filled, and we thoroughly enjoy being the perfect spot to have breakfast, a casual lunch, or coffee and cake right at the centre of the city’s most famous street. We always enjoy seeing our regulars, and now summer is here we welcome new visitors from all over the world. As a team, we also have a supportive network with our colleagues here, and enjoy watching each other flourish.”

Cat de Leon of As Above So Below Emporium added, “The Cavern Walks neighbors and the people of Liverpool have really welcomed my darkly elegant store which not only has a wide range of products and services but also hosts workshops, artists and tarot readings. From regulars to walk-ins, my clients have embraced the witchy vibe and I am really looking forward to a busy season ahead.”
